YHWH's name

YHWH - Name of our Creators

“YHWH | ‘I Am Who Exists As A Provider and Future For and With You’ {YHWH from H1961 ’ehayah – I Am Caring and Concerned about Relationship; I Will Be and Exist With You; I Will Come To Be With You – The One Who Brings A Future Into Being For You and On Your Behalf (both in awareness and in reality}.

Grammar Note | The ’aleph at the beginning of ’ehayah (אֶהְיֶה) is not a detached prefix or pronoun, but the verbal marker of first-person singular imperfect - the speaker’s own self inserted into the action.

While hayah (הָיָה) means to exist, to become, to come to pass in a general sense, the prefixed ’aleph makes it personal and relational, transforming abstract existence into “I Myself Am / Will Be.”

It signifies the Living One entering into His own verb: the act of Being is Himself. Thus ’ehayah reveals YHWH not as static existence but as active, self-revealing, and sustaining presence - the One who comes to be, causes to be, and continues to be for and with those He loves.

Amplified Sense: “I Will Come To Exist For You as a Provider and Sustainer – as a parent provides food, shelter, guidance, and love.”

hayah - existing in a state with a focus on future continuance, to become or arrive at a state of existence; from ahey / ayeh (“where is it?”) - an interrogative of direction and place, marking both the source and the destination of being.

Altogether, YHWH declares: “I Am and Will Be the One Who Brings Your Future into Reality.”

Pictographic Note on אֶהְיֶה – ’Ehayah

(From root הָיָה – “to exist, to become, to come forth into being”)

Letters:

(Aleph אֶ) – the Source, the Strong One, the Head of Leadership, Ox or Ram head - picturing the origin, the unseen Power, the One who leads and bears. It signifies the beginning of awareness, the first movement of intent — “I”, the consciousness of Being Itself. In ’ehayah, Aleph draws the infinite into personal expression. It is YHWH entering the verb, saying, I Myself am this existence.

(Hey הְ) – the Breath, Behold, Revelation – a figure of open hands and uplifted arms. It speaks of breath exhaled, life revealed, essence made visible.

The Hey in this word opens what was hidden in Aleph: existence breathed outward, a Being who makes Himself known and perceivable.

(Yod יֶ) – the Hand, Work, Action, Deed. It depicts agency, causation, making, and provision. Within ’ehayah, the Yod shows that Being is not passive; it acts, creates, sustains. YHWH’s “I Am” is not inert existence but purposeful doing - the Hand that builds, feeds, and forms.

(Hey ה) (again) – the Breath revealed anew, signifying continuance, revelation again, and cyclical flow. Where the first Hey opened being, the final Hey opens becoming - the ongoing manifestation of that divine presence. It concludes the word with an exhale, a rhythm of life proceeding forth.

Amplified Pictorial Reading

’Ehayah – “The Source (Aleph) reveals Himself (Hey) through purposeful action (Yod) and continues revealing (Hey) in a living cycle of being and becoming.” It portrays YHWH’s existence as movement, not stillness - a pulse of breath and creation.

YHWH is the One who enters as a verb, the Living Source of Life in motion, expressing:

“I am the One who exists for you, who becomes with you, who acts toward you, who continues revealing Myself alongside, with, through and around you.”
